Mola Foods is a growing beverage company expanding distribution of our hibiscus wellness drinks into grocery stores, cafés, wellness markets, convenience stores, campus stores, and multicultural retailers throughout New England.
We are looking for a motivated and outgoing independent contractor to help introduce our products to retail buyers and develop new store accounts.
Position Overview
This is a flexible part-time independent contractor (1099) opportunity ideal for someone with sales, retail, food & beverage, or local business outreach experience.
The role will begin at approximately 10 hours per week, with the opportunity for additional hours based on performance, account growth, and business needs.
Compensation
- $18–$20/hour
- Approximately 10 hours per week to start
- Commission-based incentives for successfully securing retail accounts and sales growth
Commission opportunities may be tied to:
- Initial store orders
- Account sales volume
- Reorders
- Multi-location placements
Responsibilities
- Research and contact grocery stores, cafés, wellness markets, convenience stores, campus retailers, and multicultural markets
- Introduce Mola Foods beverages to store buyers and managers
- Develop and grow retail accounts within assigned territories
- Conduct outreach through phone, email, networking, and in-person visits
- Schedule tastings and product presentations
- Follow up with prospective accounts and maintain relationships
- Assist with onboarding new retail accounts
- Track outreach activity and account progress
Ideal Candidate
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Comfortable with outreach and speaking with business owners
Organized, self-motivated, and dependable
Sales or retail experience preferred
Food, beverage, or CPG experience is a plus
Familiarity with local grocery or café markets is helpful
Able to work independently and manage time effectively
