What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead daily sanitation activities across production areas and equipment.
- Interview, onboard, schedule, coach, and evaluate sanitation employees.
- Ensure cleaning, sanitizing, equipment disassembly, and reassembly follow established procedures.
- Monitor sanitation conditions, respond to contamination events, and minimize production downtime.
- Correct sanitation non-conformities and reinforce safety and housekeeping expectations.
- Complete daily reports, recaps, goals, schedules, and required documentation using a computer.
- Hands-on sanitation experience in food manufacturing or food production.
- Prior experience leading sanitation employees and managing performance.
- Working knowledge of facility and production-equipment sanitation.
- Ability to enforce procedures, address sanitation concerns, and drive accountability.
- Comfort with computer-based reporting, documentation, and scheduling.
- Availability for 2nd shift and flexibility to support other shifts; reliable transportation and English communication required.
- Bakery or high-volume prepared-food manufacturing experience.
- Experience with GMPs, SSOPs, pre-operational inspections, or master sanitation schedules.
- Experience participating in food-safety, quality, or environmental-monitoring programs.
- Hands-on leadership role with ownership of a critical operation.
