Jr. Office Admin (Contract-to-Hire)

Our client is seeking a Junior Office Administrator for a contract-to-hire opportunity to support daily office operations with a strong emphasis on billing, accounting support, and vendor coordination. This entry-level role is ideal for someone highly organized, detail-oriented, and interested in growing into an administrative or accounting support career.
The Jr. Office Admin will assist with invoice processing, vendor communications, office coordination, and general administrative support for leadership and staff.
Key Responsibilities- Answer phones, greet visitors, and manage front-office communications
- Assist with billing and invoicing, including data entry, tracking payments, and supporting accounts receivable/payable processes
- Coordinate with vendors regarding invoices, purchase orders, and payment status
- Maintain organized filing systems for financial and administrative records
- Support expense tracking, data entry, and basic accounting documentation
- Assist with scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and coordinating team activities
- Manage office supply orders and maintain relationships with office vendors
- Provide general administrative support to leadership and cross-functional teams as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in Business, Accounting, or related field preferred
- 1 year of administrative, office, billing, or customer service experience preferred
- Basic understanding of billing, invoicing, or accounting processes is a plus
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with accounting software or Google Workspace is a plus
- Reliable, adaptable, and eager to learn and grow within administrative/accounting functions
