Help older adults in the Miami community apply for assistance with essential home utilities. A community-focused nonprofit is seeking a Bilingual Intake Specialist who can guide applicants through the process, answer questions with care, and keep cases moving.
What you’ll do
Help seniors complete applications and understand the documents they need.
Review applications and supporting records to determine eligibility under program guidelines.
Follow up with applicants and partner organizations to gather missing information.
Enter accurate case notes and maintain records in the organization’s database.
Explain application decisions and next steps clearly and respectfully.
Participate in community outreach events to help older adults learn about available services.
Work with your team to process applications on time.
What you’ll bring
Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Social Work, Public Administration, or a related field.
Fluency in English and Spanish.
Strong communication, organization, and data entry skills.
A patient, compassionate approach to working with older adults.
