A well-established and growing title company in Southwest Michigan is seeking an experienced Escrow Officer to join their team. What You'll Do:

As an Escrow Officer you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the closing process from start to finish. Your day to day will include:

• Conducting 4-5 residential closings per day
• Preparing and reviewing all closing documents including Closing Disclosures and ALTA Settlement Statements
• Managing escrow accounts and ensuring accurate fund disbursement
• Acting as the primary point of contact for all parties involved including buyers, sellers, real estate agents, lenders, and attorneys
• Coordinating inspections, appraisals, and other necessary services
• Ensuring full compliance with TRID, RESPA, and all applicable real estate regulations
• Expertly identifying and resolving title issues that arise during the transaction process
• Preparing and sending closing documents back to lenders post-closing
• Maintaining accurate and detailed records of all transactions and correspondence
• Ensuring compliance with all record-keeping requirements and data security protocols

What We're Looking For:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated professional with a proven track record in title closing. The ideal candidate will have:

• 3-5 years of title closing, escrow, or settlement experience
• Experience as a title examiner or abstractor also considered
• Proficiency with title closing software such as ResWare, SoftPro, RamQuest, or Qualia
• Active title license or ability to obtain state title licensing
• Active notary commission or ability to obtain
• Strong knowledge of real estate law, closing procedures, and compliance requirements
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
