Barrister Title is seeking an experienced Title Closer / Escrow Officer to manage residential real estate transactions from start to finish in our Schererville office.
This role is ideal for a closer who is detail-oriented, confident with mortgage documentation, and looking for a well-run, supportive environment where they can do their best work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and conduct residential real estate closings (purchase and refinance).
- Review and interpret mortgage loan documentation.
- Accurately prepare and balance settlement statements.
- Coordinate with lenders, agents, HOAs, and all parties to ensure smooth closings.
- Manage timelines, documents, and communication from contract to closing.
- Fund transactions accurately and on time.
- Maintain compliance with all applicable regulations.
