Customs Entry Writer
Location: Long Beach, CA | Onsite
Pay: Up to $30/hour, depending on experience
A well-established company in the Long Beach area is seeking an experienced Customs Entry Writer / PGA Specialist to join its import brokerage team.
ResponsibilitiesPrepare and submit U.S. customs entries.
Review import documents for accuracy and completeness.
Handle FDA/PGA requirements and May Proceed releases.
Research HTS codes and product classifications.
Track FDA exams, holds, and releases.
Communicate with clients, carriers, and steamship lines.
Process RFIs and resolve entry/documentation issues.
Review bills of lading and shipping documents.
Follow company procedures and customs requirements.
Maintain accurate records and files.
3 years of customs entry writing/import brokerage experience.
Strong FDA/PGA experience.
Knowledge of HTS classification and U.S. customs procedures.
QuestaWeb experience is a plus.
Proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Strong attention to detail and organization.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
