A leading commercial electrical contractor is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to oversee large-scale commercial construction projects from pre-construction through closeout. This individual will be responsible for managing complex electrical projects valued at $5M while ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and in alignment with client expectations.
The ideal candidate will possess strong commercial electrical construction experience, excellent leadership and communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in fast-paced environments. This role requires a balance of strategic project oversight and hands-on coordination across field teams, subcontractors, vendors, and clients.

Key ResponsibilitiesProject Management & Execution- Manage commercial electrical construction projects from pre-construction through project closeout
- Oversee project budgets, forecasting, schedules, and cost controls
- Coordinate procurement activities and material deliveries to support efficient project execution
- Manage multiple complex commercial electrical projects simultaneously
- Monitor project progress and proactively address scheduling, operational, or construction challenges
- Manage change orders including negotiation, documentation, pricing, and execution
- Track project financial performance and maintain profitability goals
- Support forecasting, reporting, and budget management throughout the project lifecycle
- Coordinate closely with field teams, subcontractors, vendors, clients, and internal stakeholders
- Lead project meetings and maintain clear communication across all parties
- Support collaboration between operations, field leadership, and project stakeholders
- Ensure projects are executed in accordance with safety standards, specifications, and local codes
- Maintain strong understanding of commercial electrical systems and construction processes
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and applicable regulations
- Utilize project management and construction software platforms to track project progress and reporting
- 5 years of electrical project management experience
- Experience managing commercial electrical construction projects valued at $5M
- Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects within fast-paced construction environments
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, commercial construction processes, and local building codes
- Experience managing procurement, scheduling, forecasting, and cost controls
- Strong change order management and risk mitigation experience
- Proficiency with:
- Procore
- Microsoft Project
- Bluebeam
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Bachelor’s Degree in:
- Electrical Engineering
- Construction Management
- Related field preferred
- PMP certification or equivalent is considered a plus
- Base salary approximately $120K–$150K
