Pay Range: $20–$24.00 per hour, depending on experience
A growing precision manufacturing company is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented CNC Saw Operator to join its B Shift production team. This individual will set up and operate CNC saw equipment, cut raw materials according to job specifications, inspect completed pieces, and prepare materials for the next stage of production.
The ideal candidate has at least one year of CNC machine operation, industrial saw operation, or related manufacturing experience and is comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities- Set up and operate CNC saw machines according to work orders and job specifications.
- Adjust machine settings, measurements, and cutting parameters for each production job.
- Load raw materials into the saw and safely remove finished cut pieces.
- Monitor machine performance and identify defects, equipment issues, or quality concerns.
- Inspect cut materials to confirm measurements and accuracy.
- Use calipers, micrometers, tape measures, and other measuring tools.
- Properly label, pack, and transport finished materials to the appropriate production area.
- Accurately complete production paperwork and enter job information into company systems.
- Perform routine equipment checks and basic preventative maintenance.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all safety procedures, manufacturing standards, and company policies.
- Communicate equipment concerns, material defects, and production issues to leadership.
- Work collaboratively with machinists, material handlers, quality personnel, and other production team members.
- At least one year of CNC machine operation, industrial saw operation, or related manufacturing experience required.
- One to three years of CNC saw operating experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of production machinery and manufacturing procedures.
- Experience using calipers, micrometers, tape measures, or similar measuring tools.
- Ability to read and follow work orders, measurements, and production instructions.
- Basic computer and data-entry skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to take initiative and work with limited supervision.
- Ability to frequently lift and move materials weighing approximately 50–70 pounds.
- Ability to stand and walk throughout the entire shift.
- Ability to bend, reach, push, pull, and handle manufacturing materials.
- Ability to safely work around industrial machinery, moving equipment, and production materials.
