An industrial manufacturing organization is seeking a highly skilled Machinist to support the production of centrifugal pump parts and industrial components within a precision machining environment.
This individual will be responsible for setting up and operating both manual and CNC mills, lathes, and turning centers while producing high-quality parts with close tolerances. The ideal candidate will possess strong machining expertise, blueprint reading capabilities, setup experience, and the ability to work independently with limited supervision.

Key ResponsibilitiesMachining Operations- Set up and operate manual and CNC lathes, mills, and turning centers
- Perform precision machining operations with close tolerances across a wide variety of parts
- Produce high-quality parts and tooling while meeting production deadlines
- Perform difficult machine setups and related hand operations as needed
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
- Understand and apply Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T)
- Utilize precision measurement tools including:
- Micrometers
- Calipers
- Precision inspection instruments
- Maintain high quality standards throughout machining operations
- Perform equipment cleaning and preventative maintenance
- Maintain machining equipment, supplies, and operational records
- Support safe manufacturing operations and follow company safety standards
- May assist or guide employees at lower skill levels as needed
- 3–5 years of machining experience
- Strong experience operating:
- CNC mills
- CNC lathes
- Manual machining equipment
- Ability to independently manage setups and machining operations
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Technical or Trade School certification preferred
- CNC machining
- Manual machining
- Blueprint reading
- GD&T
- Precision measurement tools
- Preventative maintenance
- Quality inspection
