Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Provide dedicated implementation support for districts adopting STEM core curricula.
- Collaborate with Professional Learning leadership to align strategies with district goals and team objectives.
- Deliver engaging, standards-aligned professional learning sessions for teachers and leaders in mathematics and science—both virtually and in person.
- Build strong relationships with district stakeholders as an embedded partner, ensuring long-term implementation success.
- Partner cross-functionally with Customer Success and Curriculum teams to align planning and delivery.
- Apply deep content expertise in problem-based learning to tailor training and conversations to district needs across grade levels.
- Anticipate and address implementation challenges, providing ongoing coaching and consultation.
- Coordinate training schedules to ensure timely execution and efficient resource use.
- Develop and oversee comprehensive STEM implementation plans aligned with district instructional priorities and certification requirements.
- Monitor fidelity, consistency, and impact across STEM sessions, adjusting plans as needed.
- Leverage resources within the Professional Learning team to support continuous growth and effectiveness.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
We’re looking for candidates with the following background:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics Education, Science Education, Curriculum & Instruction, or related STEM field (graduate degree strongly preferred).
- Minimum 5 years K–12 classroom teaching experience in mathematics or science; or instructional coaching or mentoring experience in STEM subjects; or combination of both.
- Experience with Illustrative Math curriculum (required).
- Current or prior teaching certification in Mathematics or Science (preferred).
- Expertise in problem-based learning instructional design and delivery.
- Proven success delivering mathematics/science professional development, training, or consulting services.
- Strong background in curriculum and instruction, with the ability to influence district decision-makers.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and problem-solving skills with diverse educational audiences.
- Self-directed, highly organized, and able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Collaborative team player committed to high-quality, results-driven work.
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively (up to ~60% annually; peaks up to ~90% during summer/fall seasons).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Zoom/Teams, and cloud-based tools.
- Experience with Salesforce or other CRM systems (preferred).
- Must hold valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
- Ability to pass fingerprint clearance or equivalent background check within 7 days of hire.
