Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Serve as a field-level expert to position the curriculum for pilot programs, district approvals and broader adoption opportunities.
- Develop and execute adoption strategy in your region by preparing the market and ensuring field teams are equipped with the right tools, training, and messaging to succeed.
- Articulate the curriculum’s differentiated strengths — including equity, rigor, coherence, instructional design — and how it meets instructional needs compared to alternatives.
- Collaborate with sales, product marketing, curriculum and professional learning teams to create compelling resources and implementation materials that support rollout and fidelity.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with state, district and school leaders (curriculum directors, instructional coaches, teachers) to understand their priorities, adoption processes and pain-points.
- Act as a trusted advisor through the curriculum selection, adoption and classroom implementation process.
- Support comparative evaluations by clearly demonstrating how the curriculum addresses specific instructional gaps and outperforms competitor programs.
- Leverage knowledge of key influencers in the region to drive awareness, understanding and adoption of the curriculum.
- Guide districts and schools through the adoption process and help them translate the program into improved classroom outcomes.
- Contribute to product- and field-marketing campaigns tailored to the region’s adoption cycles and stakeholder needs.
- Represent the organization at state-level and regional conferences, adoption events and district meetings to build brand visibility, credibility and stakeholder engagement.
- Partner closely with sales, product, professional learning and customer success teams to ensure a seamless experience for adopters throughout the process.
- Provide regional insights to inform product development, marketing strategy and field execution.
- Champion the voice of educators from your region in internal planning and strategy discussions.
- Perform other duties as required.
We’re looking for candidates with the following background:
- Master’s degree in education (or equivalent) with 5 years of experience supporting curriculum adoption, pilot implementation or large-scale instructional rollouts in K-12 mathematics — or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Deep knowledge of the region’s K-12 mathematics landscape — including state standards/frameworks, curriculum adoption processes, district decision-making structures and instructional priorities.
- Experience with the core curriculum in question (preferably having taught or implemented it in the classroom) and a strong understanding of its instructional design and features.
- Established relationships with district leaders, administrators, educators and key instructional influencers in your region.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, able to engage one-on-one and present comfortably to large groups.
- Proven ability to collaborate across functional teams (sales, marketing, product, professional learning, customer success).
- Willingness and ability to travel regularly (up to ~75% in region) and occasional out-of-state travel as needed.
- Multiple medical, dental, and vision plans (some at zero premium)
- 401(k) with company match
- Paid Time Off (PTO) 16 holidays, including floating and year-end breaks
- Paid bonding leave and fertility/family-building benefits
- Mental health resources and professional growth stipends
- Tuition reimbursement and paid volunteer time
