Duties
- Safely operate commercial vehicles
- Load and unload propane cylinders and tanks accurately, following all safety protocols and handling procedures.
- Drive assigned routes efficiently, navigating urban and rural areas to ensure timely deliveries while maintaining compliance with traffic laws.
- Verify delivery orders, inspect vehicles before departure, and perform routine maintenance checks to ensure optimal operation.
- Maintain detailed logs of deliveries, route activities, fuel consumption, and vehicle inspections for compliance and reporting purposes.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any issues promptly.
Experience
- Proven experience in truck driving or commercial driving roles, preferably with delivery driver experience involving propane or hazardous materials.
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to transporting hazardous materials like propane is highly desirable.
- Ability to load & unload fuel efficiently
- Strong route driving skills with the ability to navigate diverse terrains confidently while maintaining safety standards.
