Duties
- Perform tire replacements, repairs, rotations, and balancing on customer vehicles at various locations using specialized service trucks
- Conduct automotive diagnostics to identify issues related to tires, wheel alignment, and vehicle maintenance needs
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to install, remove, or repair tires and related components efficiently and safely
- Assist with vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake inspections, and basic mechanical repairs when needed
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair procedures, answering questions, and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Conduct heavy lifting of tires and automotive parts safely while adhering to safety protocols
- Maintain accurate service records, work orders, and inventory of parts and tools used during each job
Experience
- Prior experience or background in automotive repair is highly preferred
- Chauffers license required
- Familiarity with the use of hand tools, power tools, and automotive service equipment
- Service technician experience in a mobile or dealership setting is a strong plus
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting regularly and work outdoors in various weather conditions
