Responsibilities
- Perform pre-flight and post-flight inspections of aircraft to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Maintain ground support equipment, ensuring it is in optimal working condition.
- Provide fueling services for aircraft, adhering to safety protocols and procedures.
- Assist with the loading and unloading of cargo, ensuring proper handling techniques are used.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate logistics for incoming and outgoing flights.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed and any discrepancies noted during inspections.
- Uphold cleanliness and organization in all work areas, promoting a safe working environment.
- Demonstrate leadership skills by training new staff members on operational procedures and safety standards.
Requirements
- Strong time management skills to effectively prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations is preferred.
- Experience in commercial driving is a plus, with a valid driver's license required.
- Previous experience in logistics or related fields is beneficial.
- A militarized background may be advantageous for understanding operational protocols.
