Tony’s Plumbing is hiring an Underground Sewer Technician to join our Plumbing Install Team. This is a great opportunity if you like working with your hands, being part of a crew, and learning from experienced plumbers.

About You

• You have experience in sewer and drain repair or replacement.

• You are comfortable working in confined spaces and outdoor environments.

• You have hands-on experience in underground sewer and trenchless and are confident working with specialized equipment.

• You can safely operate company vehicles and tow equipment trailers.

• You are able to perform manual excavation and hand digging when required. 

• You take pride in quality workmanship and attention to detail.

• You communicate clearly with customers and team members.

Underground Sewer Technician Expectations

• Install and repair underground water, sewer, and gas piping , ensuring everything is to code and built to last.

• Use advanced trenchless technology for sewer pipe lining and replacement without disturbing the property’s surface.

• Engage in shovel work, trench digging, lifting and moving heavy equipment, and assist team members as directed by the Install Lead.

• Perform both trenchless and traditional sewer repair methods.

• Communicate clearly with customers regarding findings and recommended solutions. .

• Follow all safety protocols and environmental regulations to ensure a safe work environment for yourself and your team.

• Work closely with leads, team members, and other technicians to ensure smooth and efficient project execution.

• Keep the worksite, tools, truck, and inventory clean and organized to ensure smooth operations and a professional image.

Pay rate: $20-30 per hour based on experience

Schedule:

Generally, Monday through Friday 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, additional periodic nights and weekends Underground Sewer Technician Benefits

Physical Demands:

• Moving tools, equipment, and heavy materials in and out of homes and work areas.

• Lifting up to 200 lbs and engaging in manual labor tasks.

• Standing, kneeling, walking, and working with hands for extended periods.
