HVAC Service Technician Expectations

You’ll be the trusted expert customers rely on when comfort systems need attention. You’ll:

• Diagnose, maintain, repair, and install residential heating and cooling systems.

• Troubleshoot electronic, mechanical, refrigeration, and electrical components.

• Clearly explain findings and guide customers to informed, confident decisions.

• Deliver a 5-star customer experience on every service call.

• Document all equipment details, measurements, and service notes accurately.

• Maintain, stocked, clean, and organized company vehicles.

• Generate invoices, process payments, and collect required documentation onsite.

• Communicate effectively with dispatch to maintain schedules.

• Participate in company-provided training and professional development.

• Identify opportunities for additional solutions that benefit the customer.

Pay: $60,000 to $100,000 per year

Schedule:

Generally, Monday through Friday 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM. This role may include evenings, weekends, and participation in an on-call rotation as business needs evolve.

Physical Demands: 

• Minimum 2 years of HVAC installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting experience.

• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

• Ability to pass background check and drug screening.

• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs unassisted.

• Comfortable working in residential environments, indoors, and outdoors.

• Ability to work extended hours during peak seasons if needed.
