Modern Support Services is a human services agency providing home- and community-based services to adults with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities (I/DD) for over twenty-six (26) years. We are excited to announce and expand our services to include: mental healthcare and psychotherapy (MSS Therapeutic Centers, Inc.).

We are currently seeking California certified medical billing and coding specialists/front office receptionists.
Experience in medical billing and coding is required. Experience working in mental healthcare and/or community health clinics is preferred.
Candidates must be open to working in a setting with varying displays of distress and psychological needs.

- Associate's Degree in Medical Billing/Coding or Bachelor's Degree in Health Information Management are preferred
- Minimum of two (2) years experience in billing/coding and healthcare
- Experience working with diverse communities and needs
- Ensure compliance with federal and state government regulations - to sustain ethical and legal practice with respect to all facets of your work as an office administrator in mental healthcare.
- The Office Coordinator is expected to maintain current client invoices, payments, cancellation/attendance status updates, client-related correspondence/communication, and related records upon completion of each session/office visit.
- The Office Coordinator is responsible for receiving and returning telephone calls, emails, and messages.
- The Office Coordinator is required to attend mandatory development workshops/trainings and weekly status meetings - as part of their ongoing professional development.
- The Office Coordinator is expected to maintain active California certification as a billing and coding specialist (Certified Professional Coder).
