Modern Services is one of the largest mechanical contractors in Southwest Florida. Our incredible growth has created an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Associate. We seek motivated individuals for our roles that have an interest in both contributing to growing the company as well as their personal careers.
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for maintaining stock, handling equipment/materials, loading service vehicles, and assisting the Warehouse Manager as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, store, and distribute materials, tools, equipment, and products within the warehouse.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material handling equipment.
- Load and unload trucks of incoming stock and materials
- Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents.
- Pick and fill orders for trucks and jobs
- Keep track of inventory levels and report discrepancies
- Safely pick up & deliver parts/equipment to job sites and technicians in the field using a company vehicle
- Keep a clean and safe working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Assist with grounds maintenance and additional tasks as needed

Requirements
- Must be able to pass a drug test and background check
- Lift/carry up to 50lbs
- Clean driving record
- Ability to operate a forklift
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and evenings if needed
