This is a full-time, long-term role with a warm and busy family in Greenwich navigating the beautiful, demanding season of two children under two. A deeply experienced nanny anchors the household and remains the toddler's trusted primary caregiver. The family is now looking for a second set of hands to take over afternoon baby care, manage school runs and driving, and quietly absorb the household and administrative weight that builds up in a busy home.
The person who thrives here is unhurried and emotionally perceptive — someone who understands that trust with a cautious toddler is earned gently over time, not claimed on day one. You're confident with babies, at ease behind the wheel, and willing to fold into a household rather than simply clock in and out. What You Will Do
- Provide hands-on afternoon care for a baby — feeding, naps, soothing, and engagement
- Handle school drop-offs and pick-ups, plus driving for errands and activities
- Offer gentle, secondary support with a toddler as trust builds over time
- Manage light household tasks — packages, returns, grocery runs, basic tidying, vendor coordination
- Build a warm, steady presence the family can rely on
Schedule and Compensation
- Flexible weekday schedule (full days or afternoons), plus weekend afternoons as needed
- Roughly 26–42 hours/week depending on the mix
- $35–$40 /hr depending on experience
