About the Role
A warm, loving family is seeking an experienced, emotionally intelligent Nanny / Family Assistant to support their two wonderful boys, ages 6 and 4. This role blends hands-on childcare with family-assistant responsibilities, and calls for someone who brings both structure and genuine warmth into the home.
The older child (6) is lively, funny, and adventurous — he loves being active (playgrounds, hiking, swimming, skiing), drawing, reading, and building Legos. He has been diagnosed with high-functioning autism and ADHD, which can show up as difficulty with transitions, occasional meltdowns, and challenges navigating social situations. He thrives with clear structure, consistent routines, and an active daily life, and also needs quiet, calm space to re-center when needed.
The younger child (4) is deeply sensitive, intuitive, and imaginative — he loves magnatiles, Legos, Pokemon, Minecraft, cars, and dinosaurs. He can be a little moody or dramatic at times but responds beautifully to positive reinforcement. He has some FOMO tendencies and finds his greatest comfort in being close to the people he loves.
The family values trust, openness, and clear communication above all, and is looking for someone patient, adaptable, and confident supporting two young boys with very different personalities and needs.
