What are the responsibilities and job description for the Deburr - Aerospace position at Modern Industries, Inc.?
**Aerospace experience is a requirement for this position.** Sign-on Bonus of $2000, you receive half after 30 days of employment and the 2nd half after 60 days of employment**
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Hand finish / Deburr a wide variety of metal parts and castings for the aerospace industries
- Use hand and power tools to grind, sand, clean, break edges, and deburr parts in preparation for further finishing
Knowledge & Abilities:
- Ability to use basic deburring and hand-finishing tools, including right angle grinders, die grinders, orbital sanders, and air pens (manual and power)
- Knowledge and proper use of calipers, torque wrenches
Education & Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 0–3 years of hand finishing experience preferred
- Ability to read and comprehend English preferred
Physical Requirements:
- Steady hand-eye coordination
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to twist/turn upper body as required
- Close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus required
- Must wear personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times
