Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and experience in a variety of surgical specialties.

• Provide safe, efficient, and accurate patient care in the operating room environment.


• Assist in surgical procedures as a circulating nurse, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available.


• Monitor patient status and provide immediate interventions as needed.


• Collaborate with surgical teams to deliver high-quality patient outcomes.

• Schedule: 4 shifts of 9 hours each, totaling 36 hours per week.


• On-call requirement: One day per week (rotating) and every 5th weekend.


• On-call hours: Weekdays from 3:30 PM to 7:00 AM; weekends from Friday 3:30 PM to Monday 7:00 AM.

• Must have experience as a circulating nurse and in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU).


• Experience in the following surgical specialties is required: General Surgery, Gastroenterology, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Orthopedics, Ear, Nose and Throat, Urology, Cataract Surgery, and Podiatry.


• Previous travel nursing experience is highly preferred.

• Current BLS Certification (AHA)


• Current ACLS Certification (AHA)


• Current PALS Certification (AHA)

• All licenses and certifications must be active and current at the time of application.
