PreOp/PACU/Pre-post Cath and Procedural RN
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated PreOp/PACU/Pre-post Cath and Procedural RN to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess the necessary experience and certifications to provide excellent patient care in a variety of procedural settings.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide preoperative and postoperative care for adult and pediatric patients.
- Assist in the recovery of patients undergoing procedures, including but not limited to Orthopedics, Podiatry, ENT, Urology, GYN, General Surgery, Plastics, Endoscopy, and Ophthalmology.
- Monitor and assess patients' status throughout the perioperative process.
- Prepare patients for procedures and provide education to patients and families regarding care plans.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality care.
- Document patient care accurately in electronic health records.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience in a similar role.
- Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS are required.
- Proficient in recovering adult and pediatric patients.
- Ability to work flexible hours and cover holidays as needed.
Shift Information:
Shifts will typically occur from 9 AM to 9 PM, with varying days of the week.
