Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounting Specialist to manage the day-to-day financial operations of our organization. This role is essential to maintaining accurate financial records, supporting operational efficiency, and ensuring smooth financial processes across multiple locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing, collections, and vendor payments
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in accounting software
- Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
- Process and record daily financial transactions
- Assist with payroll coordination and tracking
- Prepare monthly financial reports and assist with month-end close
- Monitor expenses and help maintain budgets
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and financial procedures
- Work closely with management and external accountants as needed
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Accounting Specialist or in a similar accounting role
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
- Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks or similar preferred)
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
- Experience in healthcare, medical spa, or service-based business is a plus
