Ancient City Accounting is seeking a Corporate Tax Accountant / Business Tax Specialist to join our growing firm beginning June 8, 2026. We serve a diverse group of business clients and are looking for someone who enjoys corporate tax preparation, tax planning, and building strong client relationships.
What You'll Do
- Prepare and review corporate tax returns (S-Corps and C-Corps)
- Assist with business tax planning and compliance
- Review financial statements and supporting documentation
- Prepare tax projections
- Research federal and state tax issues
- Communicate directly with business clients regarding tax matters
- Maintain accurate documentation and tax workpapers
- Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality client service
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- 3 years of corporate tax preparation experience
- Experience preparing S-Corp and C-Corp tax returns
- CPA or EA license or CPA candidate preferred
- Strong knowledge of federal and state tax regulations
- Experience with tax preparation and accounting software
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Preferred Experience
- Experience in public accounting
- Experience preparing corporate tax returns
- Experience with business tax planning and advisory
- Experience with QuickBooks and common tax preparation software
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $80,000 – $100,000 based on experience

Work Schedule (Outside of Tax Season)
- Monday – Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM
- Friday: 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM
- Summer Benefit: Fridays Off
- Busy Season Expectations: Additional hours required during tax season
