Job Overview

Duties
- Implement behavior intervention strategies as outlined in treatment plans.
- Collect and record data on client progress and behaviors.
- Provide direct support to children and individuals with developmental disabilities in various settings.
- Assist in patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations.
- Collaborate with other professionals, including special education staff and healthcare providers, to ensure comprehensive care.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance skills in behavioral therapy and patient care.
Requirements
- Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
- Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques and behavioral health principles.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, documentation, and records management.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- Previous experience in special education or direct patient care is a plus.
- Understanding of data collection methods related to behavioral therapy.
