What are the responsibilities and job description for the AI Sales Enablement Intern position at MOD - Power & Lighting Solutions?
At MOD, we build the power infrastructure behind modern workspaces — in-surface, on-surface, under-surface, and daisy chain solutions trusted by commercial clients across the country. We move fast, we give our people real ownership, and we don't hire interns to make coffee.
We're looking for one technically sharp AI/Data Intern to take on a project that will directly change how our sales team operates: building an AI-powered quoting tool for our Vine Power Daisy Chain program.
The problem you're solving: New sales reps at MOD face three compounding challenges from day one:
- No pre-qualified leads to start with — they spend their first weeks hunting cold with no direction
- No playbook — every hire figures out MOD's buyers, objections, and product fit from scratch
- No outreach starting point — reps stare at blank emails not knowing what to say or who to call
Your job is to build the AI-powered system that eliminates all three.
What You'll Own:
- AI-Curated Lead Feed An automated, continuously refreshed pipeline of pre-qualified MOD prospects pulled from commercial signals, lookalike matching, and industry data. Reps show up and their first task is already done for them.
- Guided Outreach Sequences AI-generated first-touch email and call scripts personalized by lead type, industry, and likely use case. No more blank screens. No more guessing what to say to a hospitality buyer vs. a corporate furniture dealer.
- Onboarding Intelligence Layer A queryable AI knowledge base that answers the questions every new hire asks in their first 30 days — who are MOD's best customer types, what objections come up most, which products fit which verticals, and what a typical deal cycle looks like.
What We're Looking For:
Required:
- Currently enrolled or recently graduated in Business, Data Science, Marketing Technology, or a related field
- Hands-on experience with HubSpot or a comparable CRM platform
- Comfortable with data — Excel, SQL, or Python a strong plus
- Self-directed — you can own a project without daily hand-holding
Bonus:
- HubSpot certifications (Sales Hub, Marketing Hub, or CRM)
- Prior exposure to sales ops, RevOps, or marketing automation
- Experience with AI sales tools such as Apollo, Clay, or similar platforms
- Familiarity with Monday.com or workflow automation platforms
