Responsibilities:
- Respond to U.S. office actions with the USPTO
- Conduct prior art and freedom-to-operate searches for patentability and freedom-to-operate analysis
- Draft high-quality U.S. patent applications
- Be an integral member of the team and invest in attorneys with both mentorship and professional growth
Qualifications:
- Ideal candidates will have a Biology-related PhD
- Must be eligible for USPTO admissions
- Superior academic credentials required
- Outstanding writing ability is required
- 3 years of top law firm patent prosecution experience in a broad range of biology applications which may include molecular and cellular biology, Genetics, and/or Immunology.
Anticipated Base Salary Range
The anticipated base salary range is $120,000-160,000 per year. Actual salary will depend on several factors including but not limited to qualifications, job-related skills, and relevant experience.
