What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Quality Assurance Specialist (Manual) position at MMD Services?
We’re partnering with a global hospitality organization looking for a highly motivated Manual QA Tester to support enterprise-level applications and integrations across a fast-paced technology environment.
This role is ideal for someone who is naturally curious, highly resourceful, and confident working independently while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams. We’re looking for someone who asks the right questions, thinks critically, and takes ownership of the testing process.
What You’ll Do:
• Review business requirements and identify testing scope
• Create and execute manual test cases, test plans, and scripts
• Validate system integrations and data flow across applications
• Perform smoke, regression, functional, and UAT testing
• Identify, document, and communicate defects and risks clearly
• Partner with developers, business teams, and project managers throughout the SDLC
• Support QA process improvements and testing best practices
• Troubleshoot issues proactively and escalate appropriately
What We’re Looking For:
• 5 years of hands-on Manual QA testing experience
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies and SDLC processes
• Experience testing APIs, integrations, and messaging systems
• Exposure to Kafka or event-driven architecture environments required
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, Zephyr, or similar QA tools preferred
• Hospitality industry experience is a plus, but not required
