Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer, based in Chicago, IL. The Senior Quality Assurance Engineer will be responsible for creating and maintaining test plans, automating performance testing, troubleshooting software issues, and ensuring high standards of quality throughout the software development life cycle. The role involves collaborating closely with development teams, analyzing business requirements, identifying potential risks, and contributing to delivering reliable and efficient software solutions.

• Proficiency in quality assurance practices, including software testing, writing test scripts, and preparing test plans
• Experience with automated testing tools, performance testing, and familiarity with test automation frameworks
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills with attention to detail
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Experience in Agile methodologies and working in an Agile environment
• Proficiency in programming languages and scripting tools used in quality assurance processes
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• Previous experience in a senior QA role and familiarity with industry-standard best practices are advantageous
