Instructional Designer

Our client, a global hospitality leader, is seeking a Learning Experience Designer to join their Learning & Development team. This individual will play a key role in designing engaging, learner-centered experiences that help employees build new skills and drive business performance across the organization.

You'll partner closely with business leaders, IT teams, and subject matter experts to create innovative learning programs from concept through launch and continuous improvement.

What You'll Do

• Design and develop engaging learning experiences for a variety of audiences across the organization.
• Create instructor-led, virtual, and eLearning content using modern instructional design principles.
• Build interactive learning modules using authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Articulate Rise, or similar platforms.
• Partner with business stakeholders and IT teams to gather requirements, identify learning needs, and develop scalable solutions.
• Manage multiple learning projects simultaneously while balancing competing priorities and timelines.
• Work effectively in an environment with evolving priorities and ambiguous requirements.
• Pilot learning solutions, gather learner feedback, analyze results, and continuously iterate to improve learning effectiveness.
• Apply learning evaluation methodologies to measure program success and make data-driven recommendations for enhancements.
• Stay current on instructional design trends, learning technologies, and adult learning best practices.

Qualifications

• 4 years of experience in Instructional Design, Learning Experience Design, or a related Learning & Development role.
• Proven experience designing end-to-end learning programs in a corporate environment.
• Hands-on experience with eLearning authoring tools, including: Articulate Storyline, Articulate Rise, etc.
• Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience partnering across business and technical teams.
• Comfortable working independently in fast-paced, evolving environments.
• Experience using learner feedback, analytics, and evaluation methods to continuously improve learning experiences.
• Ability to quickly learn new technologies and authoring platforms.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting enterprise or global organizations.
• Familiarity with adult learning theory and modern instructional design methodologies.
• Experience creating learning for technology, digital transformation, or corporate initiatives.

Portfolio

A portfolio showcasing previous instructional design or learning experience projects is strongly preferred. Candidates may be asked to provide work samples during the interview process if not submitted with their application.
