We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Snow Removal Manager to lead our winter maintenance operations. Duties

• Develop comprehensive snow removal plans tailored to each property’s layout and specific needs, including driveway clearing, walkway de-icing, and parking lot management.
• Supervise and coordinate snow plowing operations using power tools such as snow blowers, shovels, and excavators.
• Manage a team of groundskeepers and operators skilled in landscaping, lawn care, tree trimming, and landscape maintenance to ensure swift response during snow events.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment including excavators, trucks, and hand tools to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance.
• Oversee the application of de-icing materials like salt or sand to prevent ice buildup on surfaces such as sidewalks, stairs, and driveways.
• Maintain detailed logs of snow removal activities, equipment maintenance schedules, and safety reports.
• Collaborate with other maintenance teams on hardscape repairs or landscaping adjustments needed after winter storms.
• Train staff on proper use of power tools, hand tools, and safety procedures related to snow plowing and outdoor maintenance tasks.
• Ensure all operations adhere to safety standards while minimizing environmental impact through responsible use of chemicals and equipment.

Experience

• Proven experience in landscape maintenance, lawn care, or general grounds keeping with a focus on winter weather operations.
• Mechanical knowledge related to operating and maintaining snow removal equipment such as excavators, plows, blowers, and power tools.
• Hands-on experience with landscaping techniques including tree care, mowing, gardening, irrigation systems, and hardscape installation or repair.
• Familiarity with construction or outdoor maintenance projects involving landscaping or site preparation is advantageous.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively under time-sensitive conditions during snow events.
• Knowledge of safety protocols related to snow plowing operations and outdoor machinery handling.
