Responsibilities
- Supervise daily landscape enhancement activities, including planting, pruning, fertilizing, and mulching to ensure vibrant and healthy landscapes.
- Oversee installation, repair, and maintenance of irrigation systems to promote efficient watering practices.
- Lead landscaping projects from planning through execution, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Manage team schedules, assign tasks, and monitor performance to maintain high standards of quality and safety.
- Conduct site inspections to assess landscape health, identify issues such as pests or disease, and implement effective solutions.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and provide expert recommendations on plant selection, landscape design, and maintenance plans.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies across all project sites.
Qualifications
- Experience in landscape maintenance, landscaping, or related fields; supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of lawn care techniques, horticulture practices, tree care, irrigation systems, and gardening principles.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
- Hands-on experience with construction activities related to landscape enhancement projects; skid steer and mini-excavator experience required.
- Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team coordination.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting heavy materials, operating landscaping equipment, and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
