Responsibilities
- Shovel and clear snow from walkways, steps, building entrances, and areas equipment cannot reach.
- Apply salt and ice-melt to help maintain safe surfaces for pedestrians and vehicles.
- For qualified operators, operate plow trucks or skid-steers to clear commercial parking lots, driveways, and roadways.
- Respond promptly to snow events, including early mornings, nights, and weekends as needed.
- Coordinate with crew members to complete assigned areas safely, thoroughly, and efficiently.
Qualifications
- No prior experience required for entry-level crew roles; on-the-job training is provided.
- Dependable and punctual, with the availability to respond quickly to winter storms.
- Comfortable working outdoors in cold, snowy, and challenging weather conditions.
- Able to perform repeated lifting and snow shoveling during a shift.
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to work as part of a team.
