Detail/Weeding Team Leader

Responsibilities

• Lead and participate in the manual removal of weeds from garden beds, mulch areas, sidewalks, and other landscaped spaces.
• Maintain clean, well-groomed areas by trimming, deadheading flowers, and ensuring crisp edges throughout the property.
• Assist with spreading mulch, compost, and soil amendments to promote plant health and suppress weed growth.
• Monitor plant health by identifying and reporting signs of disease, pest infestations, or poor soil conditions to supervisors.
• Utilize hand tools such as weeders, trowels, pruners, and rakes to achieve high-quality landscaping results.
• Remove and properly dispose of weeds, leaves, and other organic debris to maintain a tidy environment.
• Support the landscaping crew with additional tasks such as planting, watering, and light pruning as needed.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License
• Ability to reliably commute to Gibsonia, PA 15044
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of landscape care
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Experience with hand tools commonly used in landscaping is a plus
• Strong work ethic and ability to work effectively as part of a team
