MMC Group is partnering with a well-established and growing manufacturing organization in Omaha, NE to identify a skilled Fabrication Machine Operator. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy hands-on manufacturing, operating advanced fabrication equipment, and producing high-quality products in a team-oriented environment.

What You'll Be Doing

✔ Set up, adjust, and operate fabrication equipment to produce quality metal components

✔ Work with equipment including:

• CNC Lasers
• CNC Waterjets
• CNC Press Brakes
• Metal Rollers
• Punch Presses
• Sanders
• Drills
• Grinders
• Saws
• Shears

✔ Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders

✔ Perform quality inspections using calipers, micrometers, gauges, squares, and other precision measuring tools

✔ Utilize ERP systems and production software to manage orders and inventory

✔ Support continuous improvement, lean manufacturing initiatives, and workplace safety programs

✔ Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to ensure efficient operations

Qualifications

✅ High School Diploma or GED

✅ 1–2 years of fabrication, manufacturing, or machine operation experience

✅ Blueprint reading experience

✅ Experience using precision measuring instruments

✅ Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail

Preferred Experience

⭐ CNC fabrication equipment

⭐ ERP/manufacturing software systems

⭐ Forklift and/or overhead crane operation

⭐ Custom fabrication or job-shop manufacturing environments
