Electrical Technician

Responsibilities include installing, inspecting and maintaining poly-phase transformer rated meters and associated instrument transformers. Assists in installing and maintaining Cooperative's meter communication systems. Installing and maintaining computer-based metering records and performing other special projects as assigned. Troubleshooting meters and communication equipment in the field using software-based tools as directed by the AMI Coordinator.
A minimum of three years in the electric utility field and a valid driver's license is required. Exceptional educational background may be considered for a portion of the experience requirements.
Completion of metering program preferred. Self-motivated, strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills a must. The successful candidate must reside in or be willing to live in the MLEC service area. This position is based in our Centerville office.
