Key Responsibilities
- Due Diligence Execution: Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and due diligence reviews for new institutional clients
- Entity Screening: Perform deep-dive background screening on legal entities, Ultimate Beneficial Owners (UBOs), and controlling parties across various global jurisdictions
- Complex Analysis: Evaluate corporate documentation, ownership charts, proposed fund flows, and expected transactional activity to identify potential red flags
- Reporting: Prepare clear, well-documented due diligence reports and provide formal onboarding recommendations to compliance leadership
- Process Optimization: Collaborate with internal teams to enhance automation and improve the efficiency of the onboarding tech stack
- Risk Mitigation: Verify source of funds (SoF) and source of wealth (SoW) for high-risk institutional profiles to ensure full regulatory alignment

Requirements
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in AML/BSA/KYC compliance, specifically focused on onboarding or customer due diligence
- Background: Prior experience working at a leading fintech or a high-growth startup is highly preferred
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Law, or a related field
- Skills: Strong critical thinking and problem-solving mindset with an ability to work independently in a remote-first environment
- Communication: Excellent written communication skills, with a proven ability to draft formal reports and interact with institutional stakeholders
- Certifications: ACAMS, CFCS, or similar professional certifications are a plus
