What are the responsibilities and job description for the SFL- Transition SME- Fort Knox, KY position at MKS2 Technologies?
The Transition Subject Matter Expert (Intel) provides tactical analysis support to the Transition Division office, Fort Knox, KY, and submit results on a weekly basis to the Designated Government Representative.
Job responsibilities includes ability to:
- Extrapolate and fuse gathered data from multiple sources, the analyst will provide original analysis which characterizes all aspects of socio-economic factors that influence Army Soldiers' ability to attain civilian employment.
- Perform research and analysis of all-source data (such as unemployment compensation, employment demographics, location trends, etc.) derived from data bases from the Bureau of Labor and Statistics, Federal and State Departments of Labor, Veteran's Affairs, Department of Education, Small Business Administration, HQDA G1 TCAT, Army transition and other specialized departments.
- Use readily available information, identify employment sector and location trends for distribution to TAP centers and assets in support of transitioning Soldiers.
- Develop analysis to assist the Army Career Skills Program to facilitate Soldiers utilization of credentialing and apprenticeship opportunities; be able to explain the results of this analysis to include future propensity of transitioning Soldiers.
- Create detailed reports and briefings for Army commanders and program stakeholders.
Education: Master’s Degree in Business or Data Analytics preferred.
Experience: A minimum of 8 plus years of experience in similar role is required. 10 years of experience if preferred.
Clearance: Active secret level clearance required at time of hire.
