Assistant Executive Director – Retirement Community
Full-Time | Shared On-Call Rotation
We are seeking a strong, mission-driven leader to serve as Assistant Executive Director (AED) in our retirement community. This role partners closely with the Executive Director (ED) to oversee daily operations, support department leaders, ensure regulatory compliance, and promote excellence in resident services and team engagement. The AED serves as Acting ED in their absence.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (Business, Healthcare, or related field)
- 3 years of leadership experience in senior living, housing, or similar setting
- HUD experience
- Budget, staff supervision, and operational oversight experience
- Knowledge of state and federal regulations
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Valid driver’s license, clean MVR and current auto insurance
