This position is for a Director / Director Designee for After School Programs operating in the downtown churches of Tupelo, MS. Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED; Prefer applicants that have Associate or Bachelors Degree as a Qualified Child Care Director with a minimum of Four (4) years experience, Must meet Mississippi State Health Care regulations relating to Directors / Director Designee. Requirements: Must be able to work a flexible schedule: Hours of work vary during and after the school year. During the school year the work hours are approximately from 2:30pm to 5:30pm daily. After the school year and during summer months the work hours are approximately 7:30am to 5:30pm and may vary daily; Flexibility to work this type schedule is a plus; CPR and First Aide Certification is preferred but not required but the successful applicant must be willing to obtain these certifications; Experience working in a licensed child care center or church day school program preferred; Must pass a complete criminal background and complete drug screen and alcohol check. Pay range Depends On Experience (DOE)
