Job Description
A Care Giver's role is to ensure a safe, supervised environment for children attending all programs of the Church After School Association. Their responsibilities include but are not limited to:
A Care Giver's role is to ensure a safe, supervised environment for children attending all programs of the Church After School Association. Their responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Monitor child activities
- Organize and oversee age appropriate activities for all participants; works with other childcare workers, volunteers, parents and staff to listen and meet the needs of the children while in care of C.A.S.A.
- Ensure a safe and developmentally appropriate atmosphere .
- maintain a neat and clean facility through daily janitorial routines.
- Prepare snack (lunches when necessary) that meet the state mandated requirements.
- Pass FBI Fingerprint and Department of Human Services Central Child Abuse Registry check as required by Mississippi State Department of Health.
- Complete certificate in CPR and First Aid as required by Mississippi State Department of Health.
- Attend fifteen hours of continuing education each year as required by Mississippi State Department of Health.
- Must be a minimum of 18 years of age
