Job Title: Desktop Service Tech
Overview
Join a dynamic organization as a Desktop Service Tech, where you'll play a vital role in supporting end-user computing needs across diverse environments. This entry-level, contract-to-hire position offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience with modern endpoint management tools, build your technical skillset, and grow into a full-time Desktop Services professional. You'll support a mix of in-office and remote employees, ensuring seamless desktop operations and contributing to the organization's technological efficiency.
Required Skills
- Basic experience building or repairing PCs and laptops
- Familiarity with Windows operating systems and common desktop applications
- Exposure to Microsoft Intune and/or Windows Autopilot (hands-on or academic/lab experience acceptable)
- Strong willingness to learn and grow within a corporate IT setting
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to follow documented processes and ask questions when needed
Nice to Have Skills
- Internship, contract, or entry-level desktop support experience
- Exposure to Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive)
- Basic understanding of Azure AD / Entra ID
- Familiarity with remote support tools
Preferred Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certifications or coursework in IT are a plus
- Prior experience in a desktop support environment or related internship preferred
