Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5 PM
Pay Rate:

• $16.00/hour (with soldering experience)

• $15.00/hour (with mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn)

Position Summary

The Solder / Assembly Technician is responsible for assembling, soldering, and inspecting components used in welding equipment and related products. This role requires excellent attention to detail, strong manual dexterity, and a commitment to consistent attendance and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform soldering on small components and assemblies using hand tools and soldering equipment

• Read and follow blueprints, diagrams, and work instructions to assemble parts accurately

• Conduct basic quality checks to ensure parts meet specifications

• Maintain a clean and organized work area

• Work closely with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals

• Follow all safety protocols and company policies

• Exhibit reliability and consistent attendance — especially within the first 90 days of employment

Qualifications

• Experience:

  • Prior soldering experience preferred

  • Mechanical aptitude required — experience with small tools, assembly, or manufacturing is a plus

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent

• Requirements:

  • Valid driver’s license (no exceptions)

  • Clean background – no offenses ever

  • Reliable transportation to and from the worksite

  • Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and dependable attendance
