What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fund Accounting Analyst position at Mission Staffing?
Our client, a well-established and highly-regarded Private Equity firm in New York, NY, is looking to add a Fund Accountant to their Accounting team! Responsibilities of this position include NAV calculations and verification, calculating and tracking fund fees and expenses, and assisting with the month-end close process and regulatory reporting. Additional responsibilities include position reconciliation and payment support). The ideal candidate is a 5-10 year public/private CPA with familiarity in alternative investments and credit products.
Responsibilities Include:
- Calculating fund NAV, verifying fund and employee expenses, and processing waterfall calculations
- Assisting with the month-end close process, including regulatory and tax reporting requirements
- Allocating fund expenses and updating IRR calculations
Requirements:
- 5-10 years of fund accounting experience, a public/private background, and Private Equity and/or Real Estate experience
- CPA preferred
- Advanced capabilities in Excel, Bloomberg preferred
Salary : $50 - $60
