Our client, a leading financial institution based in New York, NY, is seeking a Senior Loan Administration Analyst to lead administration of its syndicated and bank loan portfolio. This role offers significant ownership and cross-functional exposure across a complex, multi-tranche loan book. Candidates must be fluent in Spanish as this will be supporting the firms Latin American clients.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee end-to-end administration of a portfolio of syndicated loan facilities, including complex multi-tranche and cross-border structures
- Serve as primary point of contact for agent banks, borrowers, legal counsel, and lender groups on servicing and documentation matters
- Review and interpret credit agreement provisions to ensure accurate calculation of interest, fees, and facility mechanics
- Manage rate reset processes (SOFR/Term SOFR) and oversee accuracy of interest calculations across the portfolio
- Lead administration of amendments, waivers, extensions, and assignments/participations, including negotiation support with legal and credit teams
- Own covenant compliance monitoring and financial reporting tracking, escalating breaches or missed deliverables to senior management
- Manage reconciliation of cash flows and facility balances across internal systems, agents, and administrators, resolving complex breaks
- Lead onboarding of new and amended facilities, ensuring static data, lender allocations, and system setup are accurate
- Support month-end/quarter-end close, NAV validation, and audit requests, acting as subject matter expert on loan positions
Requirements:
- 3 years of experience in loan administration, agency services, loan servicing, or credit operations within a bank, asset manager, BDC, or loan servicer
- Fluent in Spanish
- Strong working knowledge of syndicated bank loans, leveraged loans, and/or private credit facility structures
- Experience reading and interpreting credit agreements, amendments, and intercreditor documentation
- Proficiency in Excel; experience with WSO
