What are the responsibilities and job description for the FX Operations Analyst position at Mission Staffing?
Our client, a well-known Broker Dealer in Midtown, NY, is looking to add an FX Operations Analyst to their team! Responsibilities for this position include processing and confirming FX transactions in SWIFT, investigating and resolving FX payment breaks, and reconciling Nostro accounts. The ideal candidate will come with at least 3 years of FX Operations experience for a Bank or Broker Dealer and advanced working knowledge of SWIFT Messaging.
Responsibilities Include:
- Managing end-to-end trade operations across FX, currency options, and time deposits including confirmation, settlement instruction setup, and payment processing via SWIFT and CHIPS.
- Serving as a cross-functional point of contact for traders and clients, while ensuring timely resolution of unconfirmed deals, payment discrepancies, and FX breaks.
- Maintaining accurate records, daily reporting, and operational logs in compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
- 3 years in FX Operations with a focus on trade confirmation, settlement, and payment
- Familiarity with Nostro account reconciliation
- Strong working knowledge in SWIFT Messaging and payments is required, familiarity with Spectrum is a plus
