About the Opportunity

A leading global alternative investment manager with more than $50 billion in assets under management is seeking an Assistant Fund Controller to join its growing fund finance team in Miami. The firm specializes in infrastructure and private market investments across multiple sectors and geographies, with a strong international presence and a collaborative, entrepreneurial culture.

This role will report directly to a Fund Controller and play a key part in overseeing fund accounting, financial reporting, treasury, investor reporting, and operational activities across a portfolio of private investment funds and co-investment vehicles. The position offers significant exposure to senior leadership, investment professionals, investor relations, legal, tax, and external service providers.

Responsibilities

• Review quarterly NAV packages, financial statements, supporting schedules, and capital account reporting prepared by fund administrators.
• Assist with annual fund audits, including coordinating audit requests and supporting documentation.
• Support quarterly tax reporting processes in partnership with internal tax teams and external advisors.
• Analyze fund performance, operating metrics, and financial data for management and investor reporting.
• Assist with investor reporting, due diligence requests, and fundraising support activities.
• Support liquidity management, capital calls, distributions, credit facility activity, and treasury operations.
• Prepare and review management fee calculations and carried interest waterfall models.
• Review treasury transactions and cash movements.
• Assist with regulatory, lender, and counterparty reporting requirements.
• Participate in technology, automation, and process improvement initiatives across the finance function.
