What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bonds Trade Support Associate position at Mission Staffing?
We’re partnering with a leading investment firm to hire a Trade Support Associate for a 12-month contract assignment. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced operations professional with strong fixed income product knowledge looking to join a fast-paced trading environment.
Responsibilities:
- Support daily trade lifecycle activities across fixed income products.
- Ensure timely and accurate trade capture, affirmation, settlement, and reconciliation.
- Act as a liaison between Trading, Operations, Compliance, Technology, and external counterparties.
- Investigate and resolve trade breaks, discrepancies, and settlement issues.
- Monitor trade flows and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency.
- Assist with regulatory reporting and ad hoc projects as needed.
Requirements:
- 5 years of Trade Support, Middle Office, or Operations experience.
- Strong knowledge of fixed income products, including bonds and related securities.
- Experience supporting traders in a high-volume environment.
- Buy-side experience preferred; candidates from investment banks will also be considered.
- Strong understanding of the trade lifecycle and post-trade processes.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Background:
- Asset Management, Hedge Fund, Private Credit, or Investment Management experience.
- Exposure to corporate bonds, government bonds, municipal bonds, and other fixed income instruments.
Salary : $50 - $55
